Lookout Mountain

This beautiful Resort course layout weaves its way through rugged terrain that borders the Phoenix Mountain Preserve and offers spectacular views of both Lookout Mountain and Piestewa Peak.

We have learned that it is great to learn the golf swing on the lesson tee, but our students want to learn how to "Play" golf on the golf course. So, we decided that every day in the Hilton Golf Academy will include a daily playing lesson with unlimited golf on the course. That’s right, in the afternoon you will tee off in time to play 18 holes... EVERY DAY!
Each package has been designed for people who want to learn the game on and off the course, and have fun doing it! Most of our students prefer to "stay and play" with us. We have two, three, and six night all-inclusive packages that will be sure to fit your time frame. Can’t stay with us? No problem, visit us as a commuter. If time is of the essence, look into our vastly popular "Daily Clinics".
In addition, we have specially designed one-day, hourly, and 1/2 day private instruction programs. Check back throughout the year for special events like our "Women Only Weekend" our "Junior Golf Camps" and the yearly kickoff event: the "Hilton Golf Academy Alumni Weekend"!

The Academy:

6 nights and 3 days of Golf School , plus 2 additional days of golf
- Golf School Days: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Sunday evening with a welcome dinner and then students spend Monday-Wednesday at the golf school. Wednesday evening students dine with their instructor at the beautiful Different Pointe of View Restaurant. Thursday and Friday are reserved for relaxation or more golf on course if you choose!

The Short Week:

3 nights and 3 days of Golf School
-Golf School Days: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

The Short Week is designed for those who have a short amount of time, but still want to absorb a lot of golf! The experience will begin on Sunday evening with a welcome dinner and then students spend Monday-Wednesday at the golf school, before a late Wednesday departure. More details and schedules here.

The Playing Weekend:

3 nights, 2 days of Golf School, plus 1 day on-course
-Golf School Days: Friday and Saturday

The Playing Weekend is designed for those who want to take a long weekend and enjoying two full days of golf school plus an additional morning of 18 holes of golf! Students check in on Thursday evening and then spend Friday and Saturday in the golf school. Before they check out on Sunday afternoon, students will tee-off for an early morning 18 holes alongside the rising Sonoran sun! More details and schedules here.

The Daily:

1 day of Golf School
-Based on availability, minimum of two people

The Daily Clinic is designed for those who only have 1 day available, and want couple a short group lesson with 18 holes of golf in the afternoon. This daily class requires a minimum sign up of 2 students. More details and schedules here.

The CEO:

A one day personalized Golf School

With the CEO, you are the boss for the day. This is a one day ultra-exclusive private golf school for one person. Since you are the only attendee in this school, you will receive the ultimate level of personal attention. More details and schedules here.

Golf Course Rules

*Please note our golf course will be closed for overseeding 9/26/11 through 10/13/11, opening again on October 14th 2011.

Club Rules

-Play is governed by USGA Rules of Golf except where modified by local rules.

-Replace divots, rake bunkers, repair ball and spike marks on green.

-All players are requested to keep up with the group in front. Please let faster groups go through.

-All water hazards are played as lateral hazards under Rule 26-1. Margin of the hazard is defined by shoreline.

-All natural desert areas and washes are played as lateral hazards. Edge of turf is considered margin of hazard for determining point of entry.

-Out of bounds is defined by stakes and all perimeter walls. Play is prohibited from out of bounds including areas within the Phoenix Mountain Preserve.

Golf Car Rules

-Each operator of a golf car must be at least sixteen (16) years of age and have a valid driver's license.

-Always use golf car paths where provided.

-Golf cars are required to remain on paths, without exception, on par-3 holes.

-Except on a path, do not drive a car within thirty (30) feet of a green or tee.

-Unless otherwise posted, the 90-degree car rule will always be in effect. Cross directly to your ball. After playing your shot, leave fairway by shortest route.

-Always engage parking brake when leaving golf car.

-Players are responsible for any damage to golf car.
